we are doing fractions these days

how to find whole number times by fraction

 whole number times a fraction means just we are multiplying the fraction and the given whole number so 4 times 1/6 , mean we have to just multiply the number 4 by 1/6  

multiplying numerator 1 by 4 we have answer as 4/6
