let me try to explain you what is fraction

Let say today your mom gave you one apple carry along with you in your school , so you and your friend shared that apple , so half of the apple was eaten by you and other half by your friend

so here is where fractions comes into play

we had 1 apple we divided it into two parts , each half was taken by you both , half is 1/2

so fraction is just some part of whole number ( apple in our case)
