given f(x)=4x-1 and g(x)=x+6 find:
i. g(f(x)) ii. f(g(x) iii. f(f(x) iv. g(g(x)
given f(x)=xsquare(can't find it)-4, g(x)=x-1, and h(x)=3x+1
i. g(h(x)) ii.f(g(x)) iii.f(g(h(x))) iv. g(h(f(x)))

Hello
I am just telling you method to solve such kind of problems
We have
given f(x)=4x-1 and g(x)=x+6 find:
i. g(f(x)) ii. f(g(x) iii. f(f(x) iv. g(g(x)
lets take part 1 g (f(X))
We have g(x) = x+6
We have f(x) = 4x-1
g (f(X)) = (4x-1) +6
Putting the value of f(x) in the g (f(X)) to get expression
solving we have
g (f(X)) = 4x-1 +6
g (f(X)) = 4x+5
Answer
Now can you try others , just ask in case of doubt
