hi this is my first post at this forum i hope to get response soon as i am having test this monday
question is

Find the GCF of the numerator and denominator for expression.
30xy over 12x^2

We have to find the GCF of

the given expression is 30xy) / [12(x^2)]
it can be simplified as

(30y) / (12x)
= (5y) / (2x)

so gcf =6x
answer
GCF: 6x
