I not sure of how to calculate the average speed of the car from point A to D.
However, i've tried to solve it and my answer is 25m/s.
Is it correct?

To find the average speed we
To find the average speed we just need to find total distance covered from point A to D and divide by total time till point D
Area of Quad OABK
= 1/2 ( 6+10) * 4 = 32
Area of Quad KCDM
= 1/2 ( 6+12) * 12 = 108
Sum of these two = 108+32 =140
Average speed = distance / time = 140 /16 = 8.75 m/s
