Can someone please look at these three problems and explain to me. I have gotten them wrong more than twice and have given up.
1. The region bounded by the given curves is rotated about the x-axis.
y = -x**2 +7 x - 12, y = 0
Find the volume V of the resulting solid by any method.
V =
2. The region bounded by the given curves is rotated about x = 8.
x = 1 - y**4, x = 0
Find the volume V of the resulting solid by any method.
3. The region bounded by the given curves is rotated about y = 5.
x = (y - 7)**2, x = 4. Find the volume V of the resulting solid by any method
thank you very much.
