Intersection of Lines by graphing

I need to solve for the point of intersection and then graph it. I have been given
y=-2x+1 y=x-5
I am extremely confused. I have several questions like the one above to complete, can someone explain the first one so I can do the rest...
We need to draw the graphs
We need to draw the graphs of two lines on common graph sheet and see point at which these intersect
I have drawn the graphs for you , draw similar graphs on common sheet of graph and see at which point these cut each other
y=-2x+1 y=x-5
y=-2x+1
It pass through (0,1) and (0.5 , 0)
y=x-5
It pass through (0,-5) , (5,0)
Just draw these on same sheet of graph paper and see where these cut each other
