I really need this answer. I know that this was posted late in Canada but i need toknow how and engine works using the terms crankshaft, piston and cylinder. Answer by 7:00 am Ontario time please! :D

In engine the gases are produced due to combustion in the cylinder and the force is exeretd on the piston by gases to move the pistion away,the piston is attached to crank shaft
Crank shaft is further attached to wheel which is rotated
To and fro motion of piston combined using crankshaft is converted to rotary motion
