Quote:8x^3-1 (Over) 12x^2+7x-12 (divided by) 2x-1 (over) 4x-3
Make factors of 12x^2+7x-12 as (4x-3)(3x+4)
and of 8x^3-1 as (2x-1)(4x^2+1-2x)
[(2x-1)(4x^2+1-2x)/(4x-3)(3x+4)] / 2x-1/4x-3
just cancel out the terms and get answer as
4x^2+1-2x/3x+4
