Find the x and y coordinates of the point on the curve where the tangent line is parallel to chord AB.

find x any y coordinates
Find ths slope of AB = 1/2
Then find the equation of tangent at any point x y on the cureve out its y' = 1/2
you will get te point y
put this in the curve you will get x
