Hello
Quote:4x+18=7(x+3).
4x+18=7(x+3).
Solving the bracket on RHS
4x+18=7x+21
Taking terms of x on LHS and constant terms on RHS
4x-7x=21-18
-3x=3
Dividing both sides by -3
x=-1
Hope this helps
