i need help in find slope and y-intercept
there are equations like this:
y+3=-1/3x
y-2x=-3
y-6=-2x
what are the stpes to solve them?
and how to solve them?
To find slope and intercepts
To find slope and intercepts of line just write them in general form of equation of line
y=mx+c , in this m is slope and c is the intercept
Lets see one example
y-6=-2x
Rewrite it in the form y=mx+c
y= -2x+6
Comparing we have
m=-2 and c= 6
So slope of line is -2 and intercept is 6
To see why it has intercept of 6 , just see the point at which it cuts the y axis in graph above
now try to do other parts and let me know
