Question 1--What is the distance between two points one a sphere of radius 19, center (-2, -10, 5) & the other on a sphere of radius 87, center at (12, 8, -6)
Question 2--Weights of 2, 3, 5, & 7 pounds are not labled. Using a balance scale, how many weighings do you need to determine what each weight is?

Q1 The distance between any two points depends upon there location but one thing is worth noting is the mutual distance between there centers of sphere is just 25 and radius of second spehere is larger.
So to find distance we do need location of point else we have to find general solution in terms of x and y
This is the exact problem given to me by my algebra teacher, so it must be a general x & y solution. Can you still help?
